General Assembly of Prosecutors Begins Election of Members of Supreme Judicial Council

The General Assembly of Prosecutors has begun its proceedings to elect members of the new Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) from the prosecutors’ professional quota. The assembly started an hour later than scheduled because there was no quorum at the initial count. During Saturday’s General Assembly of Prosecutors, a chairperson and members of the election commission will be elected, polling stations will be designated, and candidates from the prosecutors’ quota will be heard.
